Pay rent in bitcoin
Optional, voluntary, and always priced in dollars. We accept bitcoin and never require it.
- Leases stay in USD; you may pay in bitcoin at the rate quoted on your invoice
- Commercial tenants get a defined 3–5% discount for on-time bitcoin autopay
- The quote is locked for a short window (for example, 15 minutes)
- Residential tenants can use it too; the lease is still in USD and Texas Property Code rules are unchanged
- USD is always an acceptable fallback
- Refunds are paid in dollars at the original USD value
How it works
Sign a short addendum
Your election is written into your lease: the processor, quote method, who pays network fees, and what happens with under- or overpayment.
Get a quote
Your invoice shows the dollar amount, the discount, the bitcoin amount, and when the quote expires.
Pay and get a receipt
Payment counts once the full amount confirms on the network. A late invoice is re-quoted at the current rate.
Payments go through a hosted processor to our business accounts. Neither party is a money transmitter for the other. Consult your own CPA about taxes; we are not giving tax or legal advice.
